On 16 March, C.N.S.L.R. – Fratia organizes a meeting for the creation of a local network

C.N.S.L.R. – Fratia organizes a meeting for the creation of a local network within the Project “AGricoltural job Rights to End foreign workers Exploitation – AGREE”, which will take place in Bucharest, Romania, on 16 March 2015, starting at 9.00 am, at Hotel Ibis Bucuresti Gara de Nord, 143 Calea Grivitei Street.

The local network will bring together representatives of public institutions, trade unions, NGOs, farmers, lawyers, etc, having the main purpose to strengthen institutional collaboration and harmonize all interventions in support of migrants. On this occasion, the participants will sign a cooperation agreement within the project, an agreement that will state the creation of the local network. After structuring the network, there will be organized three network meetings (working groups), which will result in the realization of a long-term action plan, to stop the phenomenon of exploitation of migrant workers in agriculture.

The event is organized within the project “ AGricoltural job Rights to End foreign workers Exploitation - AGREE” ID HOME / 2012 / ISEC / AG / 4000004390, project co-funded by the European Commission under the Programme for Prevention and Fight against Crime, implemented in the period January 2014 – January 2016, by NGOs and trade unions from Italy, Spain and Romania: Associazione Bruno Trentin ISF – IRES – as Beneficiary, and CITTALIA – Centro Europeo di studi e ricerche per i comuni e le citta, CONC – Confederacion Sindical de la Comision Obrera Nacional de Catalunya, Fundacio Cipriano Garcia CCOO de Catalunya, Centrul Parteneriat Pentru Egalitate – CPE and C.N.S.L.R. – Fratia – as partners.
